LCS&Z Team Volunteers At Local Food Bank

In an effort to help those in need in the community, members of the LCS&Z team recently volunteered at the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York on June 26, 2015.

The Regional Food Bank has been helping to feed the poor and hungry in our communities since 1982. The food bank collects large donations from the food industry and distributes it to charitable agencies servicing hungry and disadvantaged people. The food bank is responsible for servicing over 1,000 agencies and 23 different countries.

Our team of volunteers spent the day sorting through food that had recently been received by the food bank. Once these items are sorted, they are then shipped and donated to different agencies.

We are very proud of those who helped and gave of their time to help those in their community!
