Representatives from the certified public accounting firm of LCS&Z recently attended the New York State Bus Contractors Association’s (NYSBCA) 60th Annual Convention in Port Jefferson, New York.

“At LCS&Z, we are committed to bringing the most accurate and current information to all of the industries we serve, including the school bus services industry,” said Bill Zeronda, CPA and partner at LCS&Z. “This is why it’s very important for us to attend industry conferences and stay up-to-date on topics and issues that are important to our clients.”

The convention was held the weekend of October 17-19. Some of the topics covered in the presentations were: school bus safety, counterterrorism initiatives in pupil transportation, school bus fleet telematics and recent legislative and regulatory developments.

The New York School Bus Contractors Association is an organization representing over two hundred school bus companies, also known as school bus contractors, whose primary mission is to promote safe, reliable and cost-effective student transportation services in New York State.
