LCS&Z, L.L.P. Partner Elected Treasurer of the Food Pantries for The Capital District

LCS&Z, L.L.P. is pleased to announce that Jennifer M. Getter, CPA, has been appointed Treasurer of The Food Pantries for the Capital District.

“Serving on the board of The Food Pantries for the Capital District has been a wonderful experience and I am honored to now be named as treasurer,” said Getter.

Jennifer is a graduate of Siena College and has been part of the LCS&Z, L.L.P. team since 1997. She specializes in attest engagements and tax services for the firm’s clients. The majority of her time is spent working with clients in the construction industry, but she also works closely with clients in the manufacturing, legal, real estate, and school bus transportation industries. She is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA).

Founded in 1979 by the Urban Ministries Fellowship, a committee of the Capital Area Council of Churches, The Food Pantries for the Capital District provides funding, delivery, coordination of services and food drives, and education and training to all its members. The coalition of more than 60 food pantries in Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady Counties works to address hunger in the Capital District through its member food pantries.
