LCS&Z, L.L.P. Partner Named to the Board of Directors of The Food Pantries for the Capital District

LCS&Z, L.L.P. is pleased to announce that Jennifer M. Getter, CPA, has been appointed as a Board Member for The Food Pantries for the Capital District. She was also made a member of their Finance and Audit Committee.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve on the board of The Food Pantries for the Capital District,” said Getter. “I look forward to using my background and skills to make a positive impact on this amazing organization. It is The Food Pantries’ mission to address hunger in our Capital District and in my role as a Board Member, I’m excited to be an advocate for the organization by promoting awareness of the effect hunger has in our communities.”

Jennifer is a graduate of Siena College and has been part of the LCS&Z, L.L.P. team since 1997. As a partner, she specializes in attest engagements and tax services for the firm’s clients. The majority of her time is spent working with clients in the construction industry, but she also works closely with clients in the manufacturing, legal, real estate, and school bus transportation industries. She is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA).

Founded in 1979 by the Urban Ministries Fellowship, a committee of the Capital Area Council of Churches, The Food Pantries for the Capital District provides funding, delivery, coordination of services and food drives, and education and training to all its members. The coalition of 61 food pantries in Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Schenectady Counties works to address hunger in the Capital District through its member food pantries.
