Lutz, Selig & Zeronda, CPAs, L.L.P. Announces New Promotions

Lutz, Selig & Zeronda, CPAs, L.L.P is pleased to announce the promotions of Kristin Carminati, Tina Currier, Christopher Dowgos, Christopher DiSiena, CPA, and Sylwia Skoney, CPA.

“This slew of promotions makes for a very exciting time at the firm,” said William Zeronda, CPA, Partner at Lutz, Selig & Zeronda, CPAs, L.L.P. “These five professionals have all demonstrated an impressive devotion to the Firm, their clients, and their individual roles. I am so pleased to have them with us and thrilled to congratulate them on their well-deserved promotions.”

Carminati has been with Lutz, Selig & Zeronda, CPAs, L.L.P. since 2011. Previously a Supervisor, she now steps into the role of Manager. She specializes in serving the school bus industry and in providing tax, audit, and assurance services for those clients. Carminati studied at Siena College, graduating with Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance in 2010 and with a Master of Science in Accounting in 2011.

In 2018, Currier joined the Firm bringing with her over 10 years of public accounting experience. With this promotion she moves from Senior Associate to Supervisor. Her responsibilities include performing attestation engagements and tax preparation. Currier attended Adirondack Community College and holds an Associate degree in Business Management.

Dowgos has been a member of the Lutz, Selig & Zeronda, CPAs, L.L.P. team for more than two decades—he joined the Firm in 1999. Previously the Firm’s IT Director, he now takes on the responsibilities of Director of Operations. Dowgos is a graduate of the State University of New York (SUNY) College at Plattsburgh.

Since 2015, DiSiena has been a valuable member of the Lutz, Selig & Zeronda, CPAs, L.L.P. team. With this promotion he takes on the role of Principal. He specializes in working with clients in the construction, manufacturing & distribution, and real estate sectors. A 2008 graduate of Siena College, DiSiena holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. He currently serves as Treasurer for the Society of Financial Service Professionals of Eastern New York Chapter and is an active member of the NYSCCPA NextGen Committee.

Skoney has been with Lutz, Selig & Zeronda, CPAs, L.L.P. since 2012, when she joined the Firm as an accounting intern. Previously a Supervisor, she now takes on the responsibilities of a Manager, specializing in the medical/dental, retail and construction industries. Skoney graduated from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
