Lutz, Selig & Zeronda Partner Appointed to Board of Directors

Lutz, Selig & Zeronda is pleased to announce that Jeff Klahr, CPA, Partner, has been appointed as a Board Member for the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of the Capital Region.

A member of the firm since 2003, Jeff specializes in providing attest, tax, and consulting services. He works with clients in a variety of industries, including transportation, architecture, manufacturing, wholesale, and insurance. Additionally, he oversees the firm’s employee benefit plan audit practice, which has grown significantly under his direction.

“I am honored for the opportunity to serve as a member of the RMHC board,” said Klahr. “I look forward to being part of this amazing organization which has done such great things for families in the Capital Region.”

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region is an integral member of the Albany nonprofit community.  The organization is dedicated to keeping families with sick children together and near the care and resources they need. Jeff attended the State University of New York College at Brockport, graduating in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State School Bus Contractors Association (NYSSBCA). He regularly serves as a speaker for the NYSSCPA’s program on Career Opportunities in the Accounting Profession and has lectured at conferences for the NYSSBCA and the NYS Bar Association. In addition to his service on the RMHC board of directors, Jeff is a board member of the Halfmoon Baseball League and the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Summer Baseball Club. He is also a member of both the Audit Task Force Committee and the Retirement Benefits Task Force of the Schenectady Jewish Community Center.
