Sylwia joined Lutz, Selig & Zeronda CPAs, LLP as an accounting intern in 2012 and as a full-time accountant in 2013. She specializes in working with businesses in the medical/dental, retail, manufacturing/distribution and construction industries.
When Sylwia was in high school, she spent summers with her aunt in Poland. Her aunt was an accountant who would often take her to work and assign her some simple bookkeeping tasks. Her aunt was a successful role model Sylwia always looked up to. When she came to the United States to attend college, Sylwia took an accounting course during her first semester and knew she wanted to follow in her aunt’s footsteps and obtain her CPA license. Sylwia attributes her success to hard work and determination.
Originally from Grabowno, Poland, Sylwia lives in Guilderland, NY, with her son, Zander. Sylwia loves traveling, hiking, and mountain biking in her free time. Sylwia enjoys the area because it is just a short drive to the Adirondack mountains, lakes, and parks.
