William A. Zeronda

Retired

“Get the job done and get it done right. I believe that as a professional, you do whatever it takes to make clients happy and achieve their goals. My clients’ needs will always come before personal ease.”

Bill was a founding force behind the establishment of Lutz, Selig & Zeronda, CPAs, L.L.P., playing an instrumental role in the firm’s formation in 1991. As partner-in-charge of the firm’s transportation services division, he dedicated his expertise to performing due diligence on target school bus carriers for acquisition, leaving a lasting mark on the firm’s specialized service offerings. Over the years, he shared his deep industry knowledge as a respected speaker for the New York State School Bus Contractors Association, influencing best practices across the transportation sector.

Beyond his client work, Bill helped shape the broader accounting community. He was a driving pioneer in the creation of the United States network of accounting and consulting firms that evolved into the Alliance of Accounting and Consulting Firms International, Inc., later guiding its merger with a European association to form Integra International, Inc. His leadership extended to serving as the firm’s peer review specialist, where he became a trusted resource for quality control consulting and peer review services, mentoring and guiding other CPA firms toward excellence.

Bill’s legacy was defined by his thoughtfulness, integrity, and unwavering dedication to clients. He approached every engagement with a deep sense of responsibility, always placing clients’ needs first and building relationships that lasted for decades. Many of the firm’s enduring client partnerships were forged under his care, reflecting his commitment to their success.

Outside of his professional accomplishments, Bill cherished his family above all else. Residing in Clifton Park with his wife, Kim, he built a life centered on love and connection with their three children, three granddaughters, and four grandsons. His greatest joy came from watching his family grow, thrive, and succeed.

Bill’s leadership, vision, and personal dedication continue to influence the firm and its people, forming a legacy that endures well beyond his retirement.
